"Untitled Portrait with Pink Highlights" Giclee Print
Untitled portrait with pink highlights is a multimedia drawing on watercolor paper approximately 10” x 12”. It was made in the Fall of 2017 by Amos Lemon as part of work for college application portfolios. Lemon created this piece while undergoing residential treatment for drug and alcohol use and dually diagnosed mental illness. It was made during a brief period where he was drug-and-alcohol free and taking antidepressants. He considered it unfinished. The hands and eyebrows are recognizably Amos, but it may or may not be a self-portrait, perhaps in a nongendered liminal space.
The original was photographed in high resolution on a digital large format camera by Simone Associates. This giclee digital print was made on archival paper. Ink will eventually fade in direct sunlight.
ALB Limited Edition merchandise are exclusively available from the Amos Lemon Burkhart estate collection. 100% of all profits are donated. 50% of proceeds go to scholarships for drug and alcohol treatment for young adults, and 50% goes to college art scholarships.
