ARTIST:
Kate Clair is a teacher of graphic design, branding and typography at Kutztown
University. Her background is in sculpture and printmaking as well as art history. She
currently makes collages from found objects, often items picked up while walking
around town. She also paints and enjoys gardening, cooking, yoga and music. Her
methodology is to utilize old items, often rusted and damaged to create something
beautiful out of them. She finds elegance in the patina that comes with the aging of
items out in the weather.

ARTWORK:
These two works, "Green Day" and “Green Party” repurposes common objects in an elegant composition that reflects both manmade and natural items and processes. They look great together, or save one for yourself and gift the other!
